Life and UFOS

Do you believe in UFOs? Well, I do. Why? Because I see them all the time around my house, mostly while in the bedroom. UFOs are UnFinishedObjects. Those pesky little projects you meant to get to but never did or those that were started but something distracted you from getting them done. I have LOTS of them. Life has been full of ups and downs here lately, although, it seems the “downs” have happened more often than the “ups”. So crafting has been on hold. And blogging. And checking out craft carnivals. And leaving comments on other blogs.

So that is why this is the first post since March 17th. LIFE. Sometimes it bites you in the tush. HARD.

So in the next week or two I will be busy cleaning the photos on the camera, cleaning out projects I have bookmarked online (and maybe even DO a few of ‘em) and get some posts ready to get back into all my crafty/bloggyness! Cross your fingers and wish on a star for me that I get this done. Seriously, cross them NOW! {Grin}

Here’s the latest UFOs that have been spotted:

Styrofoam eggs to be decoupaged with wrapping paper (an Easter project)

A wreath for my craft room (which I don’t have yet so WHY am I making one?)

A tote bag for the dog (YES for the dog. I need something to put first aid kits and water and food and stuff in for when we take her places. She’s just like a kid ya know!)

2 wooden frames to be decoupaged (one was for Easter and I haven’t decided what to do with the other one)

Cross-stitch project (that was a Christmas gift 2 years ago. Not MY gift but a gift FOR someone mind you!)

A wooden plaque that I want to paint and decoupage a card front on (and maybe actually USE the Cricut Hubby bought me on BLACK FRIDAY 2009)

I am sure there are more, they are just all piled up in the corner. Another reason to get started on them, so I can have some room! (Or perhaps I can keep it so messy that Hubby has no choice but to move to a place that has an extra room for me to craft. My mind can be just as crafty as my hands. Hehehe)

HAPPY CRAFTING!
